		<description>If you trust your DM, this is the route to some pretty fun characters.  One of my favourite DMs once started us all out by asking us who the characters were.  No stats, they all came later, but the players who got through were the flawed ones.  One or two had sob-stories of murdered parents, but mostly it was personal flaws and the challenges that we set ourselves that made them real.

Unfortunately, I have seen too many of my flawed heroes killed (literally or just retired out of frustration) by a DM who goes &#039;oh, look at that low Wisdom...  make a spot check and then a will save&#039;.

But now I am the DM and I think I will have to bear this in mind next time I get my group together...</description>
